Owen - Noodle CD-R
It's Northern California's own Owen again, and they still sound
dreamy/pretty/weird! Of course, until the seventh song, "The Knitting
Song," the tracks don't seem too unconventional. This track is still
dreamy-ish sounding, but it also sounds somewhat out of tune. Somehow,
I think it is a good kind of out-of-tune. Moving on…. Track
10, "Reggae Momma," is one of those songs that makes me say, "Oh, man!
WHAT?!" Of course, I kind of like it. It's not a reggae song, by the
way. (There is some kind of fake accent used for the vocals—is it
supposed to be Jamaican?) Overall, I think this may be the most
accessible Owen CD I've heard. Oh, and it comes with a couple real
noodles!
