The performers are:

The Vocal Gentry Chorus, of course
Top Deck Quartet, who are all members of the Vocal Gentry

And, our guest headline quartet is Final Touch, who in April became the Sweet Adelines Region 24 Quartet Champions. And they're very entertaining, too! I'm sure you'll like their style.

The first half will include a stirring Patriotic commemoration of Flag Day, called "United We Sing," featuring familiar Patriotic songs arranged in the barbershop style.

Come join us for this great celebration in song.

2. Successful Visit with Tualatin High School Crimsonaires

What fun we all had on June 3 when the Tualatin High School Crimsonaires and music teacher Kim Kroeger visited the Vocal Gentry meeting.

Our thanks to Flipside, 8th place Finalists in the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Quartet Contest last year, and to Final Touch, Sweet Adelines Region 24 Quartet Champions, for taking time to join us and sing for us, and sing with the young people.

The Crimsonaires, the Vocal Gentry, Flipside and Final Touch all performed for each other. Then Flipside taught the fellas a tag, and Final Touch taught the gals a tag. Then Vocal Gentry music director bob Brock taught a tag that he arranged that the entire group sang.

It was a great evening of fun for us all.

Thanks to Vocal Gentry member Norm Lawson who made the first contact and arranged for the visit by all the groups.
