Crushing dead electronics from the mind of Thomas Garrison, head of
MISANTHROPE STUDIOS. Formed in the mid '90s as a solo project to coincide
with his work in the group Deathpile, Control has since released albums on
influential European labels Freak Animal, L.White Records, and Eibon, as
well as toured extensively in Japan and the East Coast USA. The Cleansing is
a rerelease of his highly sought after cdr of the same name plus bonus
tracks culled from releases on LSDO, Hospital Productions, and others



BASTARD NOISE
SOUND ENGINE CD
Formed in 1991, Bastard Noise co-existed alongside the power violence group
MAN IS THE BASTARD until the aforementioned group's demise in 1996. Bastard
Noise creates sound at its best with an orchestra of home spun instruments,
electronics and field recordings. Bastard Noise has many collaborative
projects under its belt including works with such renowned artists as
MERZBOW and THE LOCUST as well as BIZARRE UPROAR, BRUME, K2, AMPS FOR
CHRIST, HERMIT, among others. Bastard Noise has too many releases too
mention on such labels as Vermiform, Alternative Tentacles, MSBR,
Helicopter, Groundfault, Slap A Ham, Deep Six, GSL, Release Entertainment,
etc.
On this recording we find a classic Wiese / Wood line-up augmented on one
track by ex-SPAZZ member CHRIS DODGE and on another by GUILTY CONNECTOR.
