manipulating the sounds of 'ice' and 'space' for an extended exploration of
the coldest, furthest reaches of the universe. This sincere exploration of
sound is a lush range of crunchy ambient, rhythmic sound matter, dark noise,
deep drones, spacial ambience and textural explorations. Packaged in a
double slimline case with full colour artwork by Akifumi Nakajima. Edition

SISSY SPACEK - 'S/T' CD
In 1999 Sissy Spacek made their first recordings as a conventional
blur/grindcore duo consisting of Corydon Ronnau (vocals) and John Wiese
(bass and drum machine). Shortly after, the band entered a recycling period
in which Wiese produced a number of albums and eps, the first of which was
this s/t CD (originally released on Helicopter), transforming their original
source material into hardcore musique concrete. Listed in Studio Voice's
"New No Wave 200" and declared a new genre by Koji Tano, the consensus was
simply stated: "not for the faint of heart." Long unavailable, PACrec is
pleased to reissue this classic recording.
