Hello,



I came across a few articles online stating (and was told by a couple of people)

that there is a Rafi song in Ram Tere Kitne Naam.



I have not come across any Rafi song in that film. I also checked Vinay's site,

and there is no mention there either.



Can someone please confirm ?. Was this song unreleased ?.

To my knowledge I do not believe there can be or are any Rafi song in Ram Tere

Kitne Naam. I can think of only 2 possibilities:



1. A Rafi song was used in the movie (need to see the movie to verify) and hence

Mohd Rafi was credited or acknowledged for it.



2. Pancham composed a song with Rafi earlier for this movie - to replace with it

with KK. This seems improbable - since Ram Tere Kitne Naam was a quickie remake

of a Tamil hit movie. The movie was produced by Harish and Vinod Shah (Mere

Jeevan Saathi, Dhan Daulat, Kaala Sona and Zalzala) - there is an unfinished

movie with Feroz Khan. Need to check Vishwas Nerurkar's book to check the songs

for that unfinished venture.



Interestingly even IMDB credits Rafi (as playback singer) for Ram Tere Kitne

Naam. Need to see the movie now.

Disn't they used clips from Sanjeev Kumar's film Devata in Ram Tere Kitne Naam

to show his journey to filmstardom. If that is true, the Rafi classic "jab ek

qaza se guzro" could have featured in those clips.
