This primitive wind instrument: the pan flute, panpipes, flűte de Pan, Pan's pipes, syrinx, pandean pipes, or Romanian "naď", was said to have been invented by Pan, the god of nature in Greek mythology.

Well-Known Artists: Fănică Luca, Gheorghe Zamfir, Simion Stanciu, Damian Luca, Nicolae Pîrvu, Radu Simion, Damian Draghici, Cornel Pana, Raluca Patuleanu, and many more.
