I'm very excited about a gig that I'm doing, in which I'm recording a live cd.
at Trumpets jazz Club in Montclair in New jersey. The Date is June 21st at 7pm,
6 depot square Monclair NJ 973 744 2600. www.trumpetsjazz.com This will be my
forth drumming cd and it's with some of my favorite musicians of all time. the
project is called Ken Serio's "In The Moment" featuring:
Vic Juris: Guitar has played with Dizzy Gillespie, Phil Woods, Jimmy Smith,
Sarah Vaughan, Chico Hamilton, Dave Liebman, Richie Cole,Bireli LaGrene Mel
Torme, Eddie Jefferson Nancy Wilson,Gary Peacock Larry Coryell , Jeremy Steig,
and has several cds out on his own
Mark Egan; Bass has played with Pat Metheny,Joan Osborne, Michael Franks, Rory
Block, Marianne Faithful, Elements, Bill Evans ,Gil Evans,Larry Coryell, David
Sanborn, Sting, Arcadia, Roger Daltry ,John Mclaughlin and Sophie B. Hawkins to
name a few.Mark has several cd's out on his own.
Pete McCann: Guitar has played with Kenny Wheeler, Dave Liebman, Matt
Wilson,Peter Erskine,Lee Konitz, Kenny Garrett,Gary Thomas, Greg Osby,Brian
Blade and The Maria Schendier orchestra, as well as have 4 cds out on his own.
Ken Serio; Drums and Percussion;Mark Egan,Vic Juris, Ronnie Earl, Bill Turner
(guitarist for Bill Haley and the Comets), Crosscurrents, Calvin Hill, Danny

I've known and played on and off with Pete McCann in The last ten years.He was
on my last cd Eye To Eye. In 1994 I toured Europe with Vic Juris in the band
Cross Currents and we became good friends.He's on my first cd Tomorrow's Another
Day. I've always been a big fan of Mark Egan, and finally recorded with him on
Billy Eric's cd,Of Near and Distant Lands, Here's an amazing Bassist! The music
will be:
This will be slightly experimental and explores the true meaning of jazz in my
opinion. There's lots of improvising , so I guess you could call it a "JAM BAND"
on a very high caliber. I hope you can come to check out this great night of
