Hi, I'm new to the group but not new to PDQ Bach. I learned about
PDQ a few years ago when our local community band played Grand
Serenade for an Awful Lot of Winds and Percussion. Since that time I
have purchased books, recordings and sheet music. I am a bassoonist
and enjoy playing PDQ's bassoon music. I usually get a request to
play "Dutch" Suite in G Major the most. This piece calls for bassoon
and tuba. Look forward to finding out more about PDQ and Peter
Schickele. I'm afraid I'll be lurking for a while as I catch up on
all the past posts.
