You guys might remember that a couple years ago, there was an effort to
found a new non-commercial community radio station in Portland, with the
idea being that a city like yours should really have something great on the
air to mirror what's going on in your music and arts community(ies). And
maybe you've heard in local papers that something's actually gonna happen
which has the potential to do this. Yes, the FCC opened a brief window for
new applicants to apply for a full-power FM radio station, and there was one
solitary available frequency in Portland, and it was applied for and
approved.
Now, here's where you can be important here.....The licensee is a non-profit
group that's probably not even aware of all the potential of the PDX music
and art community, so you need to tell them that it needs to be recognized.
So, please take this questionnaire and provide some eclectic answers.
