The Portland Guitar Society is a nonprofit organization for people who love the guitar. We sponsor and cosponsor many guitar concerts in the Portland area including the annual Portland Guitar Festival and the annual GFA Winner’s Concert. We have a lending library of sheet music, tapes, CDs, and records available to our members at meetings, and we publish a quarterly newsletter full of articles, reviews, and a calendar of guitar events.

Meetings are held on the first non-holiday Monday of each month at the Community Music Center, 3350 SE Francis St., Portland, OR. Guitar enthusiasts and players of all styles and levels of ability meet with other players and listeners. The meetings start at 7 PM and are free to the public.
