Two feature-length films for which Doug scored the music will premiere at
international film festivals in the next few weeks.
The *Cleveland International Film Festival* will present *Donnybrook *,
written and
directed by ex-Clevelander Jon Sajetowski. *Donnybrook* goes inside
the mind
of Davey,
a troubled high school senior with a tumultuous homelife, enemies at
school,
and
rawk 'n roll dreams. Filmed entirely in the Cleveland area, you will see
familiar
landmarks such as Chris' Warped Records, Beachland Ballroom, the LTV
Steel-side
flats, and even the footbridge near the house Doug lived in in Tremont. 2
screenings
are scheduled-
3/21/06 at 12:15pm. in Theatre Blue (tomorrow)
3/23/06 at 7pm. in Theatre Green.(Thursday)

The *Tribeca Film Festival,* the celebrated NYC event created in 2002 by
Robert DeNiro,
will present the doumentary *American Cannibal: the Road to Reality*
in an
unprecedented
5 screenings, in late April/early May. Screenings are in different
theatres
at different
times and days. Doug composed and performed the entire score for this
film,
which
is up for Best Documentary at Tribeca, with the engineering and some
drumming assistance

Finally, after a successful February tour, Doug returns to the road with
songwriter
*Richard Buckner*, previewing songs from Buckner's soon to be released lp
which DG
plays on. This is Richard's set, with just the two of them on stage. The
only date
we have at this moement, is opening this Sunday, March 26th, for the Minus
Five in Brooklyn,
but Buckner and Gillard will be playing their way westward across the
United
States,
so stay tuned.
