here's the latest on what DG is doin' in November:

Doug is live on the radio tomorrow with full band on WFMU.
next week, he's playing two shows in France,
and then a solo show in Brooklyn, upon his return.

On Tuesday, November 10th, the band will perform live on the great station
WFMU, 91.1 from New Jersey on Joe Belock's show "Three Chord Monte", between
Noon and 3 PM. The show will be archived at http://www.wfmu.org for a
while, as well. Be sure to tune in, stream, archive, enjoy.


Doug is traveling to the place his last name came from, even though his
lineage is not really French at all. The DGE French Mini-tour to support
"Appel depuis Réservé" (Call From Restricted). Doug's backing band for
these shows is Alex Gestin - drums; Julien Castellen -guitar; and Julien
LaHoule Cornec -bass. (Special thanks to Ben La Bras and Insomniac
booking.)

On November 19th, Doug and band will be playing in Rennes at La Lanterne, 13
quai Lamennais 35000, Rennes, France. Cover is 5€.

November 20th, DGE rolls into Paris, 'cause that's how they roll, and plays
at Espace B, 16, 16 rue Barbanegre, Paris. Cover is 5€.

Meanwhile, back in the states, on Tuesday, November 24, Doug will do a solo
set at an all-Ohio band night at Brooklyn's Monkeytown venue.

An awesome band called Mattison, Ohio ex-pats based in Brooklyn, will play,
along with Ohio's Beaten Awake.

Should be a fun night !
