3. SPREAD THE NEWS
-------------------------------------------------

You may post announcements to the global YES fanbase by submitting them to
"Spread the News" at YesServices. Here are some of the latest news items:

(a) Rick Wakeman & The Bollenberg Experience! -- Rick Wakeman is one of
many guests on the CD entitled, "If Only Stones Could Speak (A Musical
Journey Through Myths and Legends of Medieval Brugge)," soon to be
released by The BOLLENBERG EXPERIENCE. This CD is the first for John 'Bo
Bo' Bollenberg, who used to run Rick's fanclub in the 1970s and '80s.
Although John and Rick have been friends since 1976, this is the first
collaboration of the two, and hopefully not the last! Other artists
featured on the CD are Jordan Rudess, Roine Stolt, Pär Lindh, Björn
Johansson, William Kopecky, Heather Findlay, Bryan Josh and a 16-piece
choir. Sleeve design is by renowned artist Mattias Norén. The CD, which
features nine songs comprising almost an hour of original music, will be
released on the Musea Label, Catalogue Number FGBG 4455.AR. The release is
expected in June 2002. For more information, email John Bollenberg at:
<thebollenbergexperience@...>

(b) Jon Anderson is working on a new solo album utilizing Apple
computers. Apple is going to be documenting the progress of the production
and the steps taken to create his album on the Apple MacCentral Website.
The introductory announcement of this project is located here:

Each month, between now and November 2002, Apple will add another
installment to the creative story. For this new solo CD, Jon is utilizing
a dual 1GHz Power Mac G4 with SuperDrive, an Apple Cinema Display and lots
of extras from Digidesign -- including Pro Tools|HD 2, the new 192 I/O,
Digidesign1/4s 24-Bit/192 KHz multi-channel audio interface, and a
DigiDrive FireWire 80GB hard drive. This will be an amazing process to
follow! The first installment can be read at this URL:
<http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/0205/13.legend.php>

Be sure to follow the series of articles as they are posted. VERY
interesting!

For those fans fortunate enough to have a broadband connection, there is a
downloadable video clip that accompanies Jon's article. The file is quite
large -- about 13 Megs. For those with 56K dial-up modems, this video clip
will take approximately 50 minutes to fully download. Copy and paste the
big two-line URL below into your browser and settle in! <smiles> It's
worth the wait!

(c) The new Adam Sandler movie, entitled "Mr. Deeds," features YES
performing "I've Seen All Good People" as part of the movie's soundtrack.
You can hear excerpts from the song in several advertising clips that are
now online at the Sony Pictures website. Click on "Watch Previews." YES is
featured in the "New Trailer," in "Trailer 1," and in the "Teaser." Enjoy!

4. NEW IN THE FANSHOP
-------------------------------------------------

(a) Gabrielle Perreault's beautiful, uplifting poster "The Gift of Being"
is now available in the FanShop. Her inspired work and words have been a
source of healing encouragement that many find restorative to the inner
heart. Gabrielle comments, "Through my own journeys of learning, these
words came to me with the powerful and recurring realization that we are
not commonly taught the fundamental art of respect for, and acceptance of,
our unique selves and all that we possess. In my heart, I believe that if
we were to embrace and practice this art, not only could we be well with
ourselves, but it might be infinitely easier to appreciate, acknowledge,
and keep peace with those around us as well. Namaste!" "The Gift of
Being" has been distributed to Women's Shelters throughout Ontario, Canada,
and is now available for purchase by the general public.

(b) Canadian author and YES fan, Stuart Chambers, is now offering his new
book in the FanShop, entitled YES: AN ENDLESS DREAM OF '70S, '80S AND '90S
ROCK MUSIC. Chambers provides a thoughtful look at how YES has so far
survived music politics, frequent personnel changes, internal upheavals,
geographical separations, disappointing sales, fickle fans, and aging. He
conveys the dynamics between the band members as they come and go, and
offers an insightful view into the politics of music. Chambers sees YES
history as falling into three main phases: Classic YES (1970-1977), Modern
YES (1981-1991) and YES Future (1992-2001). His analysis reveals
interesting conclusions about YES's longevity and popularity.

Also currently available in the YesServices FanShop:

*Alan Giana's gorgeous, limited-edition lithograph
prints, inspired by YES lyrics.
*Pía Matozzi's exquisite imaginative visions in art,
amazing blendings of pencils and pastels.
*Paul Rogers' eclectic and modern mixed-media
artworks and comic books.
*Wendy Vig's book of poetry, "Fountains of Gold,"
beautifully illustrated by Jon Anderson.
