A discussion group for Persian and Azerbaijani (Azeri) classical music.

This group has been established by Ostad Nasrollh Nasehpoor, vocalist and master of radif repertoire of Persian vocal music. Any off-topic posts will be removed. Please do not post political posts. Your posts must be in English. Our aim is to introduce our musical heritage to those people of the world who do not know Persian language.

This picture is a copy of the painting of the very famous Persian painter, Ostad Kamalolmolk.

In this picture you see the following instruments:
1) Santoor (Persian hammered dulcimer)
2) Kamancheh (Persian spike fiddle)
3) Tar (Persian long-necked lute)
4) Tonbak (Persian goblet-shaped drum)
5) Dayereh (Persian frame drum)
