Re: [pgh-music-history] Tuesday nights at the Decade

My favorite Decade experience, besides Black Flag, was our neighbor (of Bosley fame) sitting next to me shit faced at the bar and assuring me that he had done time and would happily kick my ass if I would only step out side. Plus Dom was his asshole buddy and would help. Plus we were all punk rock scum and our girlfriends were coke whores. I actually had fun yanking his chain, he was so trashed he almost fell off his stool. He actually ended up telling me I was alright for a scum, I was glad I didnt actually have to hurt him or the bouncers might have finished me off.

Has anyone else noted a recent car commercial (I can't even recall for what, maybe it's not for a car at all) that uses New Order's "Ceremony" as its music?...

It's for Absolut Vodka - and it's supposedly a cover by a Brooklyn band called "Fall On Your Sword." In keeping with their pop art advert tradition, the scenes...

Yeah, but when ever Mr Downstairs neighbor came up to complain about the noise at one of our parties, he and his son would hang out. I still remember them...
