I think that some of you might be interested in a new book by Suze Rotolo
entitled *A Free Wheelin' Time* which will be released by Random House on
May 13. The book is about a lot more than just her relationship with Dylan
when she was 17-18 years old. *A Free Wheelin' Time* is Suze's
memoirs about what it was like growing up as a Red Diaper Baby in New York
in the 50s & 60s, the Civil Rights Movement, her involvement with the folk
scene in the 60s and the people with whom she was friends, what it was like
being a progressive, political woman as part of the various movements at the
time and about her life since the 60s. Suze was friends with Phil's wife
Alice and I would imagine she has things to say about Phil, Dave Van Ronk,
Tom Paxton, etc. which should be of interest.

I'm sure that those of you who "were there" will be interested in reading
this book as will those of you for whom Phil and that "free wheelin' time"
are only history (although some of your parents might be interested in this
book).
