This group is devoted to discussion of everything piano related, including teaching, performing, composing, etc.

All messages from new members are automatically moderated, meaning the first messages you send will not be received by members until moderators review them.

If any of the first 3-4 posts to this group by a new member is promotional (even if the promotion has to do with piano), the promotional message will be rejected before reaching the group and the member will be permanently banned. The same treatment will be given to those who join only to request that someone send them free sheet music or an MP3.

Anyone who cites false qualifications or experience (including, but not limited to, degrees from "degree mills") to promote themselves or a product will be banned, and reasons for the banning will be made public to the group for the purpose of protecting members from misinformation.

Anyone who sends social network invitations to the entire group (Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc.) will also be banned from the group.
