PIAS-Antler is a mailing list about bands on these legendary Belgian labels - in the US some of them were licensed on Wax Trax. The genre is leaning towards what some call Electronic Body Music (EBM), industrial, or synth.

Think A Split Second, Klinik, Dive, Neon Judgement, Poesie Noire, Borghesia, Cassandra Complex, a;Grumh..., Click Click, Mussolini Headkick, Noise Unit, Parade Ground, Young Gods, In Sotto Voce, Boris Mikulic, Bazooka Joe etc.

We even have band members posting to the list sometimes! (Cassandra Complex, A Split Second, Click Click, the Weathermen, a;Grumh...) and other listees running official band websites with exclusive information.

The focus is on those not big enough to generate own lists (but OK, we can still talk about Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Meat Beat Manifesto, Legendary Pink Dots etc).
There is a separate yahoogroup for dance oriented acts like Lords of Acid, Praga Khan, but it's more or less dormant since 2002:

NETIQUETTE: Pias-antler belongs to everyone that contributes to the discussion. If you have things to sell or promote, follow netiquette. Unless your item/event is directly Pias-Antler-related, assume that many on the list won't be interested in promotional messages.

If you have a sales list, please make sure you meet these conditions before you post:
a) You contribute to the discussion on a regular basis.
b) At least some of the items are Pias/Antler-related.
c) No subjective descriptions are used. (I e describing a record as "super rare" or "long deleted" when this is not the case).

For events or concerts:
a) Events where Pias/Antler acts perform are always welcome!
b) For non-related acts: remember that listees are spread all over the world, and most won't be able to attend.
c) If you have a club that you want to promote on regular basis: create a separate mailing list, and invite those interested to join instead.
