Hey Alzn,

Takahiro Matsumoto is indeed a big fan of Michael Schenker Group.
He is totally influenced by Mr. Schenker's guitar playing. Nowadays,
His band, B'z, is very popular in my country. Bz is kind of melodic
hard rock with Japanese lyrics and English choruses. They are pop
version of Gun's N' Roses meets MSG with some modern electric
influences.

If you have heard of Steve Va's Alien Nation or something (I might
be wrong, though), you will find guitar playing of Tak Matsumoto and
B'z singer, Koushi Inaba. They seem to be good friends of Steve Vai's.
