Favorite prog rock/metal album of 2004   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2472 of 2542 |

Hi, everyone on the list.

I know...I know....
recently this list has been super slow, and
nothing going on. Ok, before posting my favorite albums of 2004.
I'd like to make sure and announce one thing.

I know it's really bummer you get e-mail
message with spams constantly.
Somewhat, spammer's postings
once in a while pop up. As much as possible, I erase those
spammings, and try not them to be a list member anymore.
It's really irritating everyone. Whenever you see the spam,
just erase or ignore it. I have no idea where they get to know
this list and sneak into here, then disappers...very strange.

Ok, having said that moderator's boring announcement here.
Let's talk about favorite album of the year, 2004. I think there
are some great albums and not so great albums. Anyway, I have enjoyed
listening to the cds I got last year.

7for4 is one of surprising instrumental prog metal fusion. It sounds
weird for some people, but 7for4 features ex.Sieges Even member,
Wolfgang Zenk, who is a phenomenal guitarist. He does amazing job
on the album. So do other members of 7for4. Really killer and burning
prog rock/metal instrumental works with nice amounts of fusion and
jazz rock in the contemporary manner.

Ayreon's latest album, The Human Equation, sounds really brilliant,
too. As usual as other Ayreon albums, there are lots of splendid and
superb vocalists and musicians appearing. I think THM is one of the
best Ayreon albums. Yeah, of course, Into The Electric Castle is
still being fabulous album as well, though.

Besides 7for4 and Ayreon, there are other goodies and killer stuffs
released in 2004. Anyway, I better stop here. Speak up what's your
favorite one from 2004.
