Welcome to everyone who has joined this list over the last week or
so. You are all invited to the Pink Singers December concert, which
this year has a special theme, featuring songs and medleys from the
big screen! Among the many movies and musicals featured will be: The
Wizard of Oz, Pocahontas, Grease, The Sound of Music and Saturday
Night Fever.
Joining the Pinkies for this special concert will be flamboyant
lesbian and gay choir Queerflöten from Freiburg, Germany. The concert
will be sign-language interpreted.
Tickets for this event are available in advance at £8 (£5 concs) each
by phoning: 07020 934 678, or can be bought on the door for £10 (£5
concs) each. Dukes Hall is part of the Royal Academy of Music and is
situated on Marylebone Road, London NW1. The nearest tube station is
Baker Street.
Doors open at 7.00p.m and the fun starts at 7.30p.m – be there to
enjoy it!
