A Night at the Opera

The Pink Singers, London’s lesbian and gay community chorus, invite you to 'A Night at the Opera', a special one-off concert to be held at the Royal Academy of Music in London on Saturday 17^th May 2003.

Joining the Pinkies for this special concert will be London lesbian and gay chamber choir Diversity and soloists from Glyndebourne Opera.

'A Night at the Opera' will feature some of the most memorable and enjoyable pieces of their genre, from Verdi's famous Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves to the fast and furious March of the Toreadors and seductive Habanera from Carmen.

A proportion of the proceeds from this concert will be donated to GALOP, London's only lesbian, gay and bisexual anti-violence charity.

Tickets for this event are available in advance at £8 each (bookings: 07020 934 678), or can be bought on the door for £10 each. The concession price is £6. The Royal Academy of Music is situated on Marylebone Road, London NW1. The nearest tube station is Baker Street.
