In association with Europride, ‘Brahms to Broadway’ is the Pink Singers’ first full concert for two years – we've been busy rehearsing since February, would you believe, and now we're making finishing touches to the new choreography!
Some of the new pieces we'll be performing are 'Fields Of Gold', originally written and performed by Sting; the summery 'New York State of Mind' by Billy Joel; three of Brahms' 'Love Song Waltzes' and the beautiful 'Flower Duet', from the opera Lakme, peformed by sopranos and altos.
We'll also be dusting off a few recent hits including the legendary 'Best of Bond' - complete with diamonds - and the 'Sheer Madness' that is Andy Mitchinson's fab 'nutty boys' medley, this time with a few added surprises...
As ever, the performance will be BSL-interpreted by Steve Hudson.
Doors open at 7.00p.m. and the concert starts at 7.30p.m. The nearest tube station to Duke’s Hall is
