The festive season is upon us and the New Year just around the corner…2008 has a special significance as it is the Pink Singers’ 25th anniversary year! We’ll be celebrating in style this coming April with a black tie event at the Battersea Arts Centre, then an anniversary concert in June. But first of all, the year gets underway with a concert inspired by our recent trip to the city of love. After two fabulous concerts in Paris earlier this month, we bring you ‘Amour and more’…a mélange of love songs inspired by the beautiful city, contrasted with some powerful classical pieces by Karl Jenkins and Bruckner, a little big band swing and more…
The Pink Singers are delighted to welcome special guests Equivox, the vibrant and very entertaining Parisian lesbian and gay choir.
The Pink Singers are looking forward to:
April 2008 and our black tie event at the Battersea Arts Centre! We’ll be performing at this event, to which Pinkies past and present will be invited.
June 2008: our anniversary concert at Duke’s Hall.
Further details on both these events to follow in the New Year.
