Dear Piper Talkers,

In recent months and weeks I have approved a
fair number of new subscribers to this
discussion list. Many of these new folk have
also expressed an appreciation for the ministry
of John Piper. Almost always they are seeking to
fellowship with others who have been equally
blessed. Some of our new subscribers have
expressed they were young in the faith or new to
Piper's ministry. Others expressed their desire
to learn from older and wiser believers. With
that said, every now and then, I see how a new
subscriber will stick around for a spell and
then, I suspect because of the lack of activity,
they just unsubscribe and go their way. I'm
writing this to tell you, each and every one of
you, that this subscription list still has the
potential to serve the Body of Christ.

So.... A hearty welcome to all of you new or
even older but silent subscribers. We encourage
you to post to this list your questions about
what the Bible teaches, what John Piper teaches,
(hopefully they always are in agreement (smile))
and whatever else you may have on your mind that
we may be of help to.
