Description
Pipes Spectacular is a place where organists of all ages and levels can discuss anything relating to organs, such as repertoire, organs (pipe or digital), composers, concerts, service-playing, etc. This group has restricted membership to keep out spammers, and all new members are moderated until they post. If the member is legit, the moderation is removed. The file section contains my collection of midi files, created using Sibelius and a 3-manual Rodgers 960. Our group boasts one of the most comprehensive collections of photos of organists/composers on the internet. The organ you see here is a 3-manual Casavant (Opus 60, 1895), located in St. Patrick's Basilica which is just one example of the many beautiful organs here in Montreal (Quebec). Pictures of the Basilica are in the photo section, and the organ's specifications are in the file section. Members also have the option of joining "The Joy Of Music", a sister-group whose link is located below. Members who join will receive download links to episodes of the Joy Of Music, hosted by Diane Bish.
