Ummm...dunno about any Clock shows...it all depends on who is
working where at what time....but that's the way it always works!
As for weekend gigs, PJ is playing on Saturday the 17th of Jan at
O'Brien's in Santa Monica....that's a weekend...and it's a gig...and
it's with the full electric band. Woo hoo!
~goo
Since I'm only 400 miles away from the places PJ plays I might make a
weekend show. I know I'll be in the LA / Long Beach area at the end
of Feb. If there were to be something that weekend it would work out
good for me. I was just thinking since it's a LEEP YEAR and we get
that extra day only once every 4 years it would be a good day for
CLOCK to play! lol Every four years... one night only... LOL
Jason in Sac
Well, you never know about Clock....if everyone's in town, who knows what
can happen. We've got 3 out of 4 in town.....and January has been
historically good for them to play live shows....

3 SETS!!!
Wow maybe if I had less to do this weekend I would have made the trip
down to SM to see PJ play. Anyone that goes find out if Clock might
play sometime soon. I would love to see them again.

Hi there
I'm looking for info on PJ's Fear of Flying CD.
Exact Tracklist
song lengths
writing credits
catalogue number
record company
please.
Looking for the info cause i'm working on a Vivian Campbell
Discography. So if anyone can tell me what song or songs he appears
on on this CD i'd be grateful.
BTW I remember PJ's work with No Sweat from 1990 - great album!
thanks
Darren.

PJ is still playing every Thursday at Finn McCool's in Santa Monica,
but recently he has started to jam again with a full band...
Check the website for details, but he's playing Tuesday, Nov 25th
at O'Brien's on Main Street in Santa Monica (just down from Finn's).
The band is sounding great...they're loud, crazy, and playing tons
of songs you'd never hear PJ play by himself.
Rock on!
Hi Paddy
Welcome to the group :-) Yeah, PJ is one very talented guy, bout time he got
recognized for it........I used to live in LA and used to live in the same
apt complex as he did and he'd play me his stuff and I thought it was awesome!
That was back in '91 or '92!! So, good to see he's doing good now and has a
website and stuff.......I haven't seen him play in years either......
anyway, hopefully he'll someday tour or something.......

I used to know PJ in Dublin, YEARS ago. Knew he'd moved to LA, but
didn't realise just how well he was doing! It's kind of weird to see
all you guys chatting about somebody I used to hang out with! But
very cool. Always knew he was a talented bloke. Pity I'll not see
him live, what with living on the other side of the world now but I'm
definitely going to check out the album ASAP. It was the strangest
thing to hear his voice coming at me out of the site, not heard it
for a long time.
Anyways, I'll be relying on you lot to keep me informed about what
he's up to these days and I will spread the word!
Nice to virtually meet you all anyway :)
Sorry for the short notice...
PJ co-wrote a song for the ABC movie "This Time Around". It is on the
ABC Family channel tonight at 8pm Pacific and an encore presentation
immediately follows. I think he said its the song with "next time
around" in it... so I guess that would be the title song. Hopefully it
will be on again this week in case you miss it.
Which leads to a question for PJ... Do you have any other projects you
are currently working on?
Thanks!
hmmm, might be able to think of a couple.......one I do have is will he ever
tour, or at least do out of town shows (acoustic or with a band)......like in
Tempe, AZ (and yes, I know TOE played here AGES ago!)...?
Kathie

We're going to be conducting a mini-interview with PJ in the next
few weeks and are looking for questions.....basically ANYTHING
is fair game (but won't necessarily be asked!)......so either post
questions here or email them via pjsmith.net and maybe yours
will be answered soon.
Thanks!

Umm...no stunt double. They shot everything in reverse and in
some parts he's even singing backwards (imagine the cue cards).
Dunno about more videos, but I'll ask him.......
~goo...typing backwards right now, you just don't know it.
Woohoo PJ! Did you have a stunt double? ;-)
Great video! Plans for any more?
Thanks for sharing!

PJ is playing live every Thursday now (used to be every other week)
at Finn McCool's in Santa Monica, so if you haven't been down to see
him play, plan an evening soon! Various other friends of his play
sets throughout the night...most recently a band called The
Automatics, who he is currently producing an album for, a new duo
called Phase that have just arrived here from England, and the ever
popular Minibar. Come down, have a beer, and enjoy the live music!
2702 Main St
Santa Monica, CA 90405

I'm so excited, I'm burstin' at the seams! Okay, I did have a big lunch... but
STILL!! ;-) I can't wait!

Molly Malone's is located at:

Ooppss, my bad........and I've been by there plenty of times. Anyway,
there's a link to Finn's website on PJ's site, so check it out if you're
curious!
Thanks for clarifying...
~goo
FYI... Finn McCool's is actually in Santa Monica, on the
corner of Main and Hill streets. Bring lots of quarters
for the meters and some extra cash if you're into Boxty's
or Fish and Chips before the show. Their food is
excellent.
