Solana Beach show   Message List

This was my 1st HG show, my personal redemption for having pissed away the opportunity to see them at the I-beam in SF 22 years ago when I lived down the street.
3-27-07 Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA: SOLD OUT

This set list is from memory.  I believe that I have all of the songs, the order in the middle might be a little transposed:

Bittersweet
The Good Son (Brad's Marshall head blows out & is replaced B4 next song)
Another World
Come Anytime
Mars Needs Guitars
Tojo
Leilani (Jam-Dave goes off on some soliloquy about how they got married, bad marriage, the marriage was doomed, ect.-hilar...)
Down On Me
Death Ship (request)
(When You Get to) California (Dave said that he'd been introducing this as a metaphor around the country.  Virgin performance in Cal-beautiful).
What's My Scene
1000 Miles Away
Miss Freelove '69
I Want You Back
Poison Pen

Encores:
The Right Time
Out That Door (multiple request throughout the show)
Like Wow!-Wipe Out
I Got A Right (Brad sings/chugs on Les Paul & blows about 400 peeps right out the front door & leaves me wondering Iggy who?)

Rick was the only one that came out, said that they were still waiting on Brad's luggage from Aspen.  He said that the show there was weird because of the altitude adjustment that they didn't have time to make, but met a lot of Aussies that are there swingin' chairs at the lifts.  Took a picture of him & my sister, very cool guy.
Sorry kids, I tried to get a camcorder in- but no go.
I've seen hundreds of show since '75, but cut away all the theatrics, gimmicks & focus solely on the music- this is as good a show as I've ever seen...pure happiness.
