Re: Bottom Line show ... FANTABULOUS!!!!

I made it to the show (Thanks to a knight in
shining armor who arrived early enought to get me a
ticket!)since I think they sold out. I KNOW for sure all the
seats were taken, and they sold SRO
tickets.

This is only my 2nd time seeing them (first time was
at NEARFest on Saturday night) - and I dragged a
friend with me who'd never heard them before. She was
blown away.

I cannot say enough about this
amazing performance! If the only complaint at NEARFest
was that they were too loud - problem solved - there
was no such problem at the Bottom Line.

If
you've never been to the Bottom Line, you should know
that this venue has always had personality of it's own
- where the people in audience always manage to
interact with the performers. It ends up adding to the
performance - as I've seen many of the performers have a good
laugh onstage. Last night was no exception. That little
banter back and forth makes me feel like the band had a
connection with us and it makes shows there sound and feel
different from ones you'll see anywhere else.

After
the show, the band made themselves available for
signings, and all were extremely gracious. They signed tons
of stuff, stood for photos (and I got a hug from
Chris Maitland I'm sorry to hear there was trouble
getting them a drink at the bar.... had I known, I would
have bought them a round before the show ended and had
it waiting for them. *LOL*!

Here's to hoping
that they will be back MUCH sooner than
later!

janie
(and 3 little girls *LOL*)
