Hey Des! Yes, I'm truly sorry for my absence. I suppose you guys are
used to me popping in for a few weeks, then out again for half a year or
more. :-)
I haven't heard any news from Peter, but I do hope all is well. Any news
would be appreciated, for all here as well I'm sure. I do hope he's
working on some new music. I can't wait to hear more positive tunes!
As for me, I've been a busy busy guy. I have four titles in the Speir
Publishing catalog now: Repossessin' Texas by a fairly well-known author
named Don Henry Ford, Jr. (Be looking for a movie about his life in the
future. :-) Then there's my two: Finding Pecos: An Addict's Trip and
Legends Vault: Stories & More. Last but not least is a project I'm
extremely proud of. My father has been writing novels for years but
insists they're terrible and definitely not worth publishing. With my
publishing venture underway I finally convinced him to send me his best
effort, which I then read with an unbiased eye. I was astonished--here
was a hit, a sci-fi book that could easily rank with some of the best! I
loved it so much I practically begged him to let me send it to
traditional publishers who could afford to put some money behind it and
market it sufficiently. He refused, and so I worked hard to make it the
best book it possibly could be. My wife and I designed a cover that came
out beautifully and we bound it in a casebound hardcover which is just
spectacular. And so Reclamation was born, a book sci-fi lovers will
thoroughly enjoy. Sorry for the advertisement, but to complete it you
can check all this out here:

And so that's my life in a paragraph. :-) If there's no news of Mr.
Lacey, why don't you guys tell us about yourselves as well? We've been a
family long enough where we know each other, but surely there's news.
Hopefully all of it is good news, but share the bad as well and you'll
find a sympathetic ear from us all. After all, that's what family is
for.
Keep Beamin!
Paul
