Thanks for the bright wishes everybody! And thanks for pointing out how old we
all are, Polly! My goodness, I was just a kid who was enamored by beautiful
music back then and now I'm well into adulthood and have experienced so many
wonderful and not so wonderful events. Nine years is a long time, but it just
goes to show you: Life changes, people change, but great music will always stay
the same. I love Beam! now just as much as I did nine years ago, and the same
goes for all of Peter's music, the Beach Boys and Brian Wilson. And, Paddy,
absolutely! I will be breaking out the headphones pretty soon here, gently
putting them on my wife's belly, and pressing play to Beam! (amongst others).
The baby will get a proper musical education! And one day he (or she) will
wonder just why they love Peter's music so much and I can tell him (or her)
about all of you wonderful folk and my good fortune in getting in on the ground
floor of the launch of a wonderful solo career.
