Hello,
Well, it is a certainly beautiful song, one of the first songs I liked on
Jordan. On Fridays we usually make some small parties with my friends, and
we always listen to the Sprouts. We like to listen to Jordan the Comeback
and especially enjoy the moments when we chat about things that happened to
us during the weekdays, and then someone lifts up his/her head saying "
That's again an excellent song ... " This was the case when we spoke about
Doo Wop In Harlem, how beautiful song is, with its very discrete
arrangement, and the nice (almost) acapella singing. And the text is again
something like we all think about sometimes, " what is behind that
blinding glare ". And the beauty of these songs is I guess , everyone finds
a little piece of him/herself in these songs, so everyone interprets them in
his/her own way. I am sure lot of people had " Anne Marie " s or maybe we
thought "casually she never suspects I am harbouring thoughts of kissing her
neck ", and it always makes me smile when I find myself in situations where
I can hear a Sprout songs in my head.
