The Prog DJs Gone Wild group is the place to go in order to see playlists and CD and concert reviews by DJs of progressive rock-friendly radio (AM, FM, satellite, and Internet) programs. Only qualified Prog DJs may post, but anyone can join. All new members are automatically on moderated status. Please encourage the following people to join: DJs (obviously!) artists, bands, and band members, record label personnel, promoters, managers, and anyone interested in seeing what gets played on the air. If you are a DJ who wants to be qualified to post on this list, first join the list. Then contact the list owner and provide him with plenty of information pertinent to proving that you are a DJ of a progressive rock radio program and that you plan on posting all of your playlists, monthly reports, and CD and concert reviews. Please post only in your capacity as a radio show host/DJ. Promoting your non-DJ activities is frowned upon. Only show related messages are allowed.

A T T E N T I O N !
Starting in April, 2008, your playlists MUST INCLUDE promotion of this mailing list. If you do not do this, you will be put onto moderation and must contact me personally to be reconfirmed as an unmoderated DJ. This INCLUDES the playlists that you post to other places. If you do not spread the word of this list, then its purpose for being here will never be met.

If you are not a DJ, then I encourage you to press REPLY to a DJ's post that interests you and establish a one-on-one relationship with that DJ. Replying to the list won't get you anywhere because only approved DJs will be taken off of moderated status.

By default, all new members are placed on moderated status to keep out spam. A DJ who gets approved will be taken off of moderated status to allow their posts to go to the list without intervention.
