All's well with your humble moderatix: I was nowhere near either the
WTC building or the Pentagon as I tend to live West of the Rocky
Mountains in the city with the worst reputation in the state I happen
to be in (Ogden is to Utah as Tacoma is to Washington: an extremely
unsightly, Meth-addled, and crime-ridden blemish.) Speaking of
location: I've moved back home to Tacoma. Right now I'm unemployed
and courting a security guard who has 34 years on me. I plan to
travel to the UK in November sometime. Any recommendations on where
to go, besides the Prokofiev Archive? Should I even bother with the
Prokofiev Archive, as I'm not a scholar and Ms. Mann (I hope I'm
getting that name right or else all is lost) will probably assume
that I'm there in order to steal something after taking one look at
me? Before anyone makes any travel suggestions, keep in mind that I
have almost no money, get nervous around crowds, and have no culture
whatsoever. Recommendations for squats, sofas I can sleep on, and
places to buy the complete catalog of CDs by The Fall will be most
appreciated.
For some reason, the group doesn't feel as personal to me anymore,
which is why I put off writing anything about my life until it was
hinted at. I probably won't have regular access to a computer after
about a month, which would throw a wrench into the works of a group
that had more than 3 posts a month. Lucky for us, we keep to
ourselves.
In Prokofiev news: I listened to the War Sonatas as played by
Richter, and he still kicks everyone else out on their ass
consistently and with flair.
