I don't know what disc the sonatas come from: they could be from the
BMG/Melodiya release, as they're on a CD that was copied for me by my
English ex-boyfriend. But as I remember it they were a compilation
of the sonatas from different sources (I can't remember the sources,
so that won't do much good). My review of the disc is at

contains more information about the time of the recordings if that's
at all helpful.
Yes, I did have a source for the dozens of Europe-only Prokofiev
releases, but, unfortunately, as I said, he is now an ex-boyfriend.
Not through my own desire, though: I wouldn't ever give something
like that up!
