historic recording of the Third Piano Concerti of Sergei Rakhmaninov
(with Kiril Kondrashin conducting the Symphony of the Air) and of
Prokof'yev (with Walter Hendl conducting the Chicago SO). Van Cliburn

I bought a Järvi-conducted recording of The Fiery Angel back in the
1990s on that label; it very likely is a reissue (of course, by now
anyone who's seen it probably knows, unless the case doesn't say, or
somesuchandso. As has been known to happen...)
Eric Schissel, who'd really like for Prokofiev and Myaskovsky's
correspondence (Perepiska?) to be translated into English,
doesn't feel up to
learning Russian in his 30s.
