1972: The PFM's first album "Storia Di Un Minuto" bursted out magic and reached in only one week the top of the Italian charts and hit parade. An unprecedented event for a rock band in Italy, which profoundly changed the course of the modern Italian music scene. Its English version "Photos Of The Ghost" marked the whole panorama of the international progressive rock scene, as one of the most glorified, innovative and truly original Italian rock export ever, reaching in the USA the Billboard's top ten. Premiata Forneria Marconi (The Award Winning Bakery Marconi) performed multiple times in many countries such as USA, Canada, UK, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Spain and Japan among others, conquering the incomparable legendary status.
2002: PFM celebrates 30 years from their discography debut, and six years after their exciting comeback and innumerous concerts all over the Peninsula, PFM decides that The World Became The World and Celebration will start in Japan, where the band received the gold record in 1975. Thanks to Japanese audience's participation and passion that Japanese tour is still considered by PFM one of the most significant experience in their whole career, which the band wish to repeat again the following May.
JVC/Victor Entertainment Japan is launching next April the Japanese press of last three critically acclaimed PFM's albums released in Italy on Sony's S4 label: "Ulissse", "www.pfmpfm.it (il best)" (with two extra bonus tracks) and "Serendipity".
