One fateful day, back in the spring of 1996, I took a shopping trip into London. I went into this touristy gift shop in Oxford Street, near HMV and The Plaza. The song being played was ‘Ciao!’, and the band was Lush.

I vaguely knew who Lush were, as I’d already heard ‘Ladykillers’ on the radio. And I’d read somewhere that Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), would be dueting with Miki. Although I’d never heard ‘Ciao!’ before, I new that the song playing, had to be the one I’d read about. I stood there mesmerised, and listened to the rest of the album.

Over the past few years, I’ve been discovering all of Lush’s old recordings, many of which are still relatively new to me! Nearly 4 years ago, I made the momentous decision to get a computer. Basically, I was trying to track down Lush material, and had come to a complete halt. I also wanted to find out, whether there were any other Lush fans out there. And the only way I was going to do that, was to get internet access.

Thanks to the web, I've been tracking them all down! I’ve also found live shows, videos (thanks Neil!), photos and loads of Lush websites. I recently flew to New York to meet another fan, and I’ve also had the chance to support Emma & Lisa, with their new album "Sing-Sing And I." And I saw them play live 3 times in 2005. All amazing shows.

My reason for starting this group? Before I got my computer, I found loads of memorabilia that I’ve never seen anywhere else. And have since found loads more on eBay. An internet group seemed like the best way of sharing it all with others fans.

Thanks to all those people who've been helping me out, it's greatly appreciated. Also, a big thank you to Bill & Jason for all those new files. This has changed my life.
