Description

You're welcome here, but you don't really belong here. You belong at: www.quadraphonicquad.com

This place is an anachronism after Yahoo changed the club to a group and added lots of annoying ads. This is still here so you can read old messages and also so you can link to the new board. But you are also welcome to use the space here as much as you like. This was the old description:

This is the place to discuss quadraphonic music, hardware, CD's, DTS, DVD, records, Q8's, quad reels, etc etc

... The Enoch Lights are indeed a guilty pleasure, especially the Q4's and Cd-4's. Ken, shoot me an email if you get a chance.

Re: listening to mucho quad vinyl lately
I own a bunch of Enoch Light quad LPs and if you promise not to tell anyone I said this, they sound fantastic, very very discrete sounding for vinyl. Very 3D.

Re: listening to mucho quad vinyl lately
heh I bet all those 'ping-pong' lounge albums from the 60s designed to show off stereo would sound pretty weird. Try some Enoch Light albums recorded on 35mm

Excellent suggetions, including the forum. As a general rule, well made 60's albums, and anything with lots of percussion or electronics seems to do well.
