Hi, nice to hear from a fellow Quad nut. Wish I could
help, but I'm one of the "old school" quad guys, I
have no DTS or DVD playback or record capibility.
Instead, I have a huge collection of the original quad
recordings, in their original formats. I have been
into quad since it began around 1971. I only collect
and play vinyl and analog tapes, as in Quad LP's and
Quad 8-Tracks and Open Reels. I am aware of the new
formats, but don't want to get into yet another area,
I'm spread too thin time wise already with what I
collect. I know in the Quadraphonic Quad forum, there
are people who post and are big into this new stuff, I
even have a friend here in town who makes them himself
from my records and tapes sometimes. He has all that
computer jazz, the programs and stuff, to make DTS
CD's. I suggest you read in the forum and follow up
or write to those who are in the know on the new
formats. If you have interest, or questions on the
original quad, feel free to ask me. Sincerely, Nick
