it's a pretty good album...but i didn't get into
them until ok computer. i mean, that was the first
radiohead album i heard. so...i guess, when i think of
radiohead, the ok computer sound is always the first i
hear...no matter what they do, just cos i listened to it
for a year before buying the other two albums, and
found them to be excellent as well.<br><br>i think
there's a wonderful sound to pablo honey, especially
considering that it was recorded so hastily. it shows
skill.<br><br>dispite the roots idea, i don't know, if they kept doing
similar albums over and over...it would probably bore me.
i bore easily.<br><br>my favorite thing is,
however, when people ask me what my favorite band is it's
like this (if they haven't heard of
radiohead):<br><br>"what's your favorite
band?"<br>"radiohead"<br>"hmm...o..k...what kind of music do they do?"<br>"(long
pause)
er...i'm not sure...that depends...on the song i
guess..."<br><br>because i really can't think of a catagory. and that's
great. they've done the rock thing, the airy rock thing,
the techno thing...and on and on...there's something
for every mood. and a surprise on every album. i
don't know how they'll keep doing it though...i still
find it fascinating. i probably would like a few more
guitar songs. but that can't be ruled out. (and that's
cool) : D<br><br>but i can understand a lot of people
being frustrated. really i do...it's probably
irritating to expect one thing and get another...or...i
dunno. but i understand people not liking new
