Greetings eveyone! I have just joined this group and am looking
forward to getting to know you. Here is my question. I have played
piano for 20 years, completely self-taught. I figured it out from
voice lessons, music theory classes and other classes in college. I
am "monkey-see, monkey-do". I don't "hear" and "feel" imrovisations
as other musicians may. I have to see them played, then incorporate
it into my playing. Is there anyone out there who wouls be willing to
give me some advice on runs and fills? I play for my church and we
enjoy upbeat music, so i tend to put some stride, blues, jazz and
honky-tonk elements into my playing. But I just need some new tricks.
