Hey Guys, here is the scoop on the masters. Mike Fisher (Heart) had
them stored in his studio for a number of years. About the time of
the EMP grand opening Brett helped to put the special edition CD's
together. Jim Rivers, our sound tech for ever and current recording
professor at the Seattle art institute, tried to transfer the 24
track studio masters and the 2 track masters at the art institute.
The tape actually seperated as they played it back. We were left with
no choice but the vinyl transfers and DJ did the best he could. Brett
added a nice touch by putting together the MTV and vintage video
footage. It was a good way to document those great years, but to tell
you the truth we are icthing to get out some new stuff. Andy and
Terry have been laying down new tracks and Rick is following up with
his input. I got to hear a few basics last week and can't wait to lay
down some drum tracks. Who knows, maybe a half dozen new tunes and
dozen live cuts from the shows this summer and we will be knocking on
your door again! Thanks for all of the kind words and fond memories
you have shared with us. I hope to see many of you at one of the
shows this summer. There are several in the works that we will
confirm and pass on soon. Until then do keep in touch, Kelly.
