Let me start with Green River community College late 70's. Fell in love
with the sound and the look. Grew up in a family of musicians so I knew
talent even at that early age. Then of course the AD Lib Tavern in Kent
and various Eastside clubs. I spent my 21st birthday with the guys in
Kent and 16 years later celebrated the birth of my granddaughter ,
guess with who?? But the best and most vivid personal memory has to be
of an after hours party somewhere on the eastside and an encounter with
either shaving cream or whipped cream cant remember which, but that
same night Kelly was teasing me and the little plastic hawaiian lei's
were in abundance and he took one tore it in half and tied it around my
neck and stated "now you have been lei'd by a rock star!" It was so
Kelly and I still have that poor piece of plastic and it makes me smile
each and everytime. Thanks Kelly. It may be years between the times I
see you all but it is like nothing has changed. Even after 11 years
when I saw you at the Bite you remembered and recognized me. That was
such a cool thing. I do miss the boots-Terry, the lace up pants-Andy,
the famous flying v-rick and of course the drum sticks flying through
the air--Kelly. In other words I miss you all and can't wait to see you
again
