RockSport is at 4209 SW Alaska St. in West Seattle. Cover is usually around
$9-10. Just follow the West Seattle Bridge around toward Fauntleroy. Turn
right onto Alaska St (at Shell & 76 gas stations) and RockSport will be on
your left a couple blocks down. There is parking around back on 42nd St. or
you'll have to find street parking around there.

It's 3/21, Mary...did I put the wrong date somewhere? ACKKK!!! (I'll go check
after work...can't go there on school 'puters!)
I have the 20th on the brain, cos my good friends The Hollywood Stones are
coming up (from Hollywood, natch) to play in Tri-Cities on teh 20th....so I'll
be racing over there Friday the 20th after work, then coming home Saturday for
the Rail gig at RockSport on the 21st.

RAIL always puts on an astonishing show! It was a fabulous weekend, as always.
Great to see Nora and Sheri again. Shannon came up from Portland (for her
Birthday Week), and Tammy & Commish made it all the way over from Spokane. We
met lots of people who'd seen Rail over in Sequim, Port Angelese and Forks, too.
We enjoyed golfing, the Crab & Seafood Festival in Port Angeles, dining out,
shopping at the "Two Large Cocks Store" in Sequim (where's my photo?), sipping
wine at the old "Barn" where Rail played back in the day, and after-show parties
both nights. (Umm, evidently not everyone enjoyed our parties...oops!)
The camaraderie between the band, the crew, the fans, and all of our families
should astonish me, but since it's always been like this...it seems pretty
normal. I just wish they played more often, so we could have more than a handful
of these "family gatherings" each year.
As Terry says...
ADIO!!!

That was a devastating tragedy. I went to an impromptu memorial for him on
Tuesday night at the Rimrock in Seattle, where he was scheduled to play. The
place was packed with fans and musicians alike. Rick Knotts was there and spoke
about Joe & Rail. It was truly an amazing outpouring of love from the Seattle
music community.
Joe's service is today (Sat, about now, I guess) in Spokane, and there will be
something in Seattle, as well. I flew back east first thing Wed and have had
limited computer access, and didn't think to post it here. (Sorry, everyone!)
Joe will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on. I feel blessed to have
known him and to have seen him play so many times.
Shine a Light, Joe!

It was really cool when this was put out back in `03. If there is no
plans for a new CD, Why not make a Christmas album? I would love to
hear the guys do more songs like this one...
Also would like to hear a live album... something I can put on my ipod
