Hi from Brian,
I wanted to invite comments on picks. I play surf guitar stuff at
home. I've graduated to a Herco pick, a cross between a normal pick
and thumb pick, on the recommendation of a friend. But they're
difficult to find.

I find it snags the strings when trying to play fast alternate picking
so guess I need to spend some time on technique. But there are so many
variables, pick shape, material, hardness......

To the guy asking about accoustics, do explore the Maton website.
Tommy Emmanual plays Matons, and they are really sweet sounding.

Regards from Brian

Try one of the Fred Kelly thumb picks. They are smaller and faster (for me)....
