Hi,
Which acoustic is best has a lot to do with what type of playing you want to
do and your own personal taste. I love my Manuel Contreras C3 classical but
it was pretty expensive. I also have an 1970s Aria classical that has a
pretty sound and is a very nice guitar. It is not as nice as my Contreras,
but a very satisfactory guitar and much less expensive.
I would say be sure that you get a solid wood top and that the instrument is
put together well with nice hardware. After that, your ear, budget, and
personal taste takes over. If you want a handmade guitar from Spain (or
wherever) you will spend a lot more then if you are satisfied with a solid
top, laminate sides and back made on an assembly line.
It really all comes down to what you like, what would make you happy, and if
you would enjoy playing the instrument.
Betty
