Hey Cuukie!
We did the same thing about 4 years ago. We stayed at the Glenora
Inn and Distillery. It's been Mabou and Inverness, neat place. We
stayed up in one of the little cottages on the hillside. The
distillery and pub are great to spend time at. They had a ceilidh
every afternoon and night. http://www.glenoradistillery.com/
You'll have to stop in at the Red Shoe Pub, you can find them
online, and it shows you who is playing there. Lunch at the Mull Cafe
is a must. www.redshoepub.com/
We went to the cemetery where John Morris is buried, it was a very
simple plain cross marker, the St. Mary's church is beautiful. You
can also see who's playing at Strathspey Place.

All the little towns, Cheticamp, Port Hood, Judique, very quaint.
We went to Baddeck and Bras D'Or for a day and toured the Alexander
Graham Bell Museum, and another day at the Fortress of Lousibourg. I
highly recommend both.
It's funny, as you drive the Cabot Trail, you see all these little
towns that are in the Rankins' songs.
We had a great time! When are you planning on going?
