In '77 he used a Rickenbacker bass, but soon switched to Fender P-
Basses for the rest of his musical career. I know that he used Ampeg
amps, but I'm not sure of the model. Ampeg is an excellent brand
anyways, though...hard to go wrong.
Additionally, I read an interview with Paul in which he mentions that
he played a fretless P-bass for a while, but I haven't seen or heard
any proof of this. Can someone confirm it?
