Here is a review from THE BIG TAKEOVER #56 (page 224):
the two tears

ENJOY YOURSELF
(BENT RAIL FOUNDATION)
I hear angular post-punk rhythms here under-
neath female vocals that catch on an early B-
52s vibe, with the guitars sometimes slipping
into a strange Sonic Youth Break, then clicking
back into a Wire/Gang of Four groove. Kerry
Davis, formerly of The Red Aunts, moves
stylistically from a demented country crooner
to a slightly intoxicated-sounding Kristen
Hersh, while the music follows her, the band
holding up the vocals with a lo-fi country
swing or a sparse pop strut, depending on
where the vocals take them. The songs are
simple and unassuming, but still have that
catchiness that sticks in your head long after
the CD is over. (www.bentrail.com)
